Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all orders made through Nordic Eatery.
Takeaway
Orders for takeaway are placed through our website during regular opening hours. Your order becomes binding once you complete the purchase at checkout. An automatic order confirmation will be sent directly to the email address you provided. Please check your spam folder if you do not see the confirmation within a few minutes. We reserve the right to refuse an order in case of technical issues or if an ingredient is out of stock. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative or a refund. Payment is made at the time of ordering on the website. Upon pickup, you may be asked to present your order confirmation (digitally or printed). As the food is prepared immediately upon order for direct pickup, no right of withdrawal applies under the Distance Contracts Act (exception for perishable food products). Please contact us by phone immediately if something is wrong with your order and we will do our best to assist you.
Catering
Food Truck Minimum charge: Booking the food truck requires a minimum of 50 portions or a minimum order value of SEK 8,000 per occasion. Transportation fee: A fixed fee of SEK 3,000 for setup, staff and transportation applies within Boden and Luleå. Location & Electricity: The customer is responsible for providing a flat and solid area measuring 6x3 meters for setup. Access to 32A three-phase electricity must be available unless otherwise agreed. Payment terms Advance payment: A booking fee / advance payment of 50% must be received no later than 14 days after booking to secure the date. Final payment: The remaining amount must be invoiced or paid as agreed no later than 7 days before the event unless otherwise agreed. Cancellation policy: As we reserve vehicles and staff specifically for your date, the following cancellation terms apply: - 30 days or more before the event: no charge (administrative fees may apply). - 14–30 days before the event: the advance payment (50%) will be retained. - Less than 14 days before the event: the full amount (100%) will be charged. Weather: The booking remains valid regardless of weather conditions. Cancellation due to weather follows the standard cancellation policy above.
Delivery & Pickup
We offer delivery for catering and larger orders according to the following: - Luleå & Boden (urban areas): fixed delivery fee of SEK 200. - Other locations: deliveries outside Luleå and Boden incur a mileage fee of SEK 120 per started 10 km. Equipment pickup: If the order includes plates, heating boxes or other equipment that must be collected by us, a pickup fee equivalent to the delivery fee will apply. VAT: All prices include VAT according to applicable regulations for each service and product.
Payments
We accept card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swish and cash when available.
Cancellation policy:
We adjust our cancellation policy according to the group size to cover ingredient purchases and planning costs.
Groups up to 39 people:
If there is a problem with your order, contact us as soon as possible. Refunds may be issued for incorrect, missing or failed orders after review.
