At Nordiceatery, we care about your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you order food or catering from us. What information do we collect? When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfil our agreement with you. This includes: Contact details: Name, email address, phone number and, where applicable, the event address. Payment information: Transaction data to confirm payment (we never store your card details; these are handled by our certified payment partners). Food preferences: Any information about allergies or special diets that you provide when ordering.
How we use your data
Why do we need your information? We process your information to: Confirm and prepare your order. Contact you about questions or changes to your order. Prepare the food safely in view of your allergies. Meet legal requirements, such as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act. How long do we keep the information? We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide our services. Information required under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act is kept for 7 years. Allergy information is deleted as soon as the event or order is completed.
Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe and Swish. We do not store full card details on our website.
Data storage
Order information may be stored securely in our systems for operational, accounting and support purposes. Who do we share information with? We never sell your information. We share only the necessary information with: Payment providers: To process your payment. IT providers: To keep our website and booking system working.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: Obtain a copy of the information we hold about you. Have inaccurate information corrected. Ask for your information to be deleted (unless this conflicts with other laws, such as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act).
